The lake (dam) of Bouilloses or Bulloses in Catalan, is a lake located in the region of Capcir in southern France near Font Romeu this artificial dam was built between 1903 and 1910 to supply electricity to the Yellow Train regulate the flow of the river Tet located 2016 meters above sea level, at the foot of Carlit (2921m) and Peric (2810m) and in the middle of a set of natural lakes, is a place of great natural beauty, classify them, from of 1976 as a protected natural site. In summer this lake, access to private cars, is regulated, having shuttles that take you to the dam.
The name derives from the Catalan Bouilloses Bullosa “boil fact” still 200 meters before the decision is a small lake called the “Bulloseta.”
This lake or swamp and all its environs are renowned for their fishing.
Around this lake have much fishing there are many hiking trails highlighting the route Carlit (2921m) and Peric (2810m), is a place to go with kids or the whole family Its countless routes around the lakes. Other routes are:

Before reaching the lake, the Plan Barrés there are a parking lot when access to the lake is restricted, also below the dam there is another parking and picnic areas.
In Barrès plan there are a municipal campsite in the area who enjoy an enviable Area and camping
